New Editable Monthly Emailed Newsletter

Your Monthly Emailed Newsletter just got better!

On the 1st of every month we update your site with three informative financial and tax saving articles. We also update the Emailed Newsletter in your email marketing system.

As you know, you don’t need to do a thing. Your clients automatically receive your Emailed Newsletter on the 10th of each month. 

Now, if you want to modify your newsletter you can! 

Did someone in your firm recently pass her CPA exam? 
Have you just started offering a new service? 
Are there any new additions to your team? 
Are you going on an extended vacation? 
Did one of your CPAs just tie the knot? 
Are you in a new office space? 

This Monthly Emailed Newsletter is a convenient way to share this information!

You have until 11:00pm on the 10th of the month to log into your email marketing system and make the changes.

How to use it:

1. Log into the email marketing system between the 1st and the 10th of any month. (The password for this is the same as the password for your website). 
You will see a grouping of bubble-shaped navigation buttons.

Click the Messages button:

You will then see a list of messages that either you have created or that we have put into the system for you.

2. Select the Edit button beside this month's message:


3. Edit both the HTML and the text versions.

4. Save your changes and log out.


That's it. Your colorful, appealing, professional and personalized message is automatically delivered to everyone on your list at 11:30 PM EST on the 10th of every month.

Remember, your Monthly Emailed Newsletter is automatically sent to your list each month regardless of whether you change it or not. 


New Email Marketing System Improvements

There are 4 exciting new changes to your email marketing system this month!  We've been listening to your input and making this system even more adaptable to your needs.  

1. Testing Messages
You now have the ability to test your messages prior to sending them to your list. Testing your messages allows you to see exactly what your massage will look like before actually sending it to everyone on your list.

2. Instant Message Sending
You can now send messages immediately without having to wait until midnight. This new feature allows you to immediately send custom messages to all your subscribers. And it allows you to to send immediate replies to new subscribers.

3. Group Subscribe
You now have the ability to quickly subscribe members from one list to another. So now if you want to add all the subscribers in your "IRS Problem Solving" list to your "1040 Tax Help" list, you can.

4. Custom Subscription Form
You can now easily create an unlimited number of custom subscription forms on your website. Let's say you want to send a series of QuickBooks tips to business owners looking for help with QuickBooks. Now you can create a page on your site that describes the tips they'll receive and provide a place for them to enter their information. Once your visitors enter their name and email address it's automatically added to your email marketing system.


Testing Messages 

Log in to your email marketing system (the user name and password are the same as the ones that you use for your website).  You will see a grouping of bubble-shaped navigation buttons.

Click the Messages button:

You will then see a list of messages that either you have created or that we have put into the system for you.

Select the Edit button beside the message that you would like to test:


You will see the message as you've written it in HTML and text forms.  Below the message is a 'test message' check box: 

Check this box.  The system will bring you to a screen where you will be asked to enter the email address to which you'd like the test message sent:

When you click send, the message will go to the one address that you've entered.  This way you can be assured that the HTML looks the way you want it to.

Instant Message Sending

Log in to your email marketing system (the user name and password are the same as the ones that you use for your website).  You will see a grouping of bubble-shaped navigation buttons.

Click the Messages button:

You will then see a list of messages that either you have created or that we have put into the system for you.  Click the Send button beside the message that you would like to send immediately.

Then you will have three options:

The first option is to send the message immediately to all subscribers.

This option will send your selected message to every email address that you've entered into your email marketing system.

The second option is to send the message to the subscribers of a specific campaign.

Select the Campaign Subscribers option and then select the campaign from the drop down box.  For example if you want to send a quick message out to all of your business owners, you would select that option and the message will immediately send to all of your contacts that are subscribed to the Business Owners list.

The third option is to send the message to one specific person.  In that case, you will select the email address option and then enter their email address.

In this case, the message will be sent to that individual.

Group Subscribe

Log in to your email marketing system (the user name and password are the same as the ones that you use for your website).  You will see a grouping of bubble-shaped navigation buttons.

Click the Contacts button:

 

You will see a list of the people that you have entered into your email marketing system.

Either select the specific people on your list that you'd like to subscribe to a campaign or check the select all box.

The drop down the menu and select the campaign that you'd like to subscribe these people to.  In this example, we subscribed all three of our users to the tax tips campaign.

Custom Subscription Form:

Login to SiteStudio.  Click "Add" in the bar at the top of the screen.  In the list of possible pages to add, select "Email Marketing System Form" and then click "next":

1) On the next thing you'll choose a title. The default is "E-Mail Subscription," but you'll want to choose something more specific. 
2) Now choose a campaign from your Email Marketing System.
3) Then check the newsletter box if you'd like to automatically add them to your newsletter list.
4) The last box in this section asks you what you want the submit button to say.  The default is Sign Up.

Below is the "Top Text" box, for the text that goes above the sign-up form.  This is a good space to write some text that tells your visitors what they're signing up for.  

In the next section you'll see a list of check boxes for "Form Questions".  Check as many or as few as you'd like.  

Below is the "Bottom Text" box.  This is a good place to let them know that their email will be kept private, that you won't sell it to anyone, and that you definitely won't spam them.
