Quick Tip: How To Setup "Out of the Office" Auto-Reply Emails Help us find new clients and we'll pay you $100 Over the last few months we've made the following improvements to your website. 1. Top listings in all the major search engines. We recently created a website that allows business owners and individuals to quickly find an accountant in their area. When someone searches for an accountant within 30 miles of your office, your firm name, address, phone number, email link, and a direct link to your website appears on the top of the page. Take a look. Go to http://www.accountant-finder.com and enter your zip code. See what happens. I was skeptical about how many people would use this site at first, but after looking at the first months traffic statistics I see that this site gets absolutely hammered. We had 9,631 unique users searching for accountants in our first month. At that rate we'll have over 115,000 searches in a year. It's very expensive to pay for the top listing in the major search engines, and I'm still evaluating it's economic feasibility. It is well worth the expense if you acquire more new clients through your website. Please let me know if you get any new clients from Accountant-Finder.com 2. Earn commissions on your own Fully Loaded Amazon.com Bookstore. We've added a new way to help you make even more money with your website. Now you can earn commissions while helping your clients succeed by adding a "Recommended Reading List" page to your website. The page is already loaded with over 30 great business books. You can add or delete as many books as you like. Once you register as an amazon.com affiliate, you'll earn a 5% commission on every book that your clients buy from your site. To add the page login to your website control panel, click on the "Modify Site" icon. Then click on the "Add a Page" button. Select "Reading List" then click on the "Next" button. You'll see a "signup" link to signup for Amazon.com's affiliate program. Once you get your Associates ID code from Amazon, enter it into the space provided. If you have clients that use QuickBooks, you may want to add those pages. More Pictures In the Pictures Library. We are continually adding new pictures to our picture library. The next time you're modifying your site please take a look at our new picture options. We've updated the Tax Rates page to reflect to new 2003 Tax Rates. Next month we will have the new rates in the 1040 Tax Estimator Calculator. More improvements to come next month and 2 major improvement scheduled for next tax season. Quick Tip: How To Setup "Out of the Office" Auto-Reply Emails 1. log into your control panel 2. Click on the "Email" icon 3. Click on your email address link 4. Click on the "Off" button next to "Autoresponder" on the right Mailbox Properties window. 5. You can send a copy of all your emails to a partner while you're away by entering their email address in the "Send Copy To" field. Please leave the field blank if you don't want to send a copy to anyone. 6.
Type in the subject line of the Auto-Reply email. 7. Type the message body of the Auto-Reply email. 8. Click on the "Submit" button when you're done. To turn the Auto-Reply off, simply click on the "On" button next to "Autoresponder" on the right Mailbox Properties window.
