Client Portal Self-Registration Signing clients up for access to the Interactive Tax Organizer and Secure File Exchange / Document Management program has just gotten easier. Now clients can sign themselves up by registering from your website. When a client registers online they get instant access to your Interactive Tax Organizer. You receive an email notifying you of each client registration. The email notification asks you to verify that the registration this is an actual client. If they are a client then all you need to do is click on a link on the notification email to grant them access to the Secure File Exchange / Document Management program. If you are using the Client Portal then this new client self-registration program is already setup on your site. You don't need to do a thing. New Client Portal Login Page Replaces Old Secure File Exchange Page The login page for the old Secure File Exchange system can be easily upgraded to the new client portal login page. All you need to do is log into the Site Manager and you'll be asked if you want to replace the old Secure File Exchange login page with the new client portal login page. If you answer, yes, the replacement will be done for you automatically. New Interactive Tax Organizer Login Page Replaces Old PDF Tax Organizer Page The static .pdf version of the Online Tax Organizer can easily be replaced with the new dynamic Tax Organizer web application. To make the replacement, please log into the Site Manager and answer "Yes" to the upgrade notification message. 2007 Tax Code Updates to 3,000 Page Financial Guidance Center The 3,000 page financial guidance section has been updated to reflect the latest 2007 tax rules and rates. New content has been added and some older, outdated content was removed. Interactive Financial Calculator Updates The 50 Interactive Financial Calculators on your site have been updated to reflect the latest 2007 tax rules and rates. The 1040 and 1040EZ Tax Estimators have been finalized with accurate 2006 rules and rate and they both now automatically calculate the Earned Income Credit. The 2007 Tax Rate versions of the 1040 and 1040EZ Tax Estimators will automatically be updated on your site on April 15, 2007. New 2007 Tax Rates Added to Tax Rates Page The "Tax Rates" page located in your "Tax Center" section of your website has been updated with a link to the most recent 2007 Tax Rates. The 2006 Rates will continue to show first until April 15th, 2007. After April 15th, the 2007 Tax Rates will show first and provide a link to the 2006 Tax Rates.
