OutlookSync - Keeping it Synchronized
CPASiteSolutions' OutlookSync GroupWare Connector is a light-weight yet powerful plug-in to MS Outlook which syncs all your local Outlook data to a centralized GroupWare server.
Your groupware data can be accessed online using SiteMail GroupWare interface or off-line, using MS Outlook with CPASiteSolutions' OutlookSync GroupWare Connector.
Even Better Than Microsoft Exchange
OutlookSync supports all the features of Outlook that would otherwise require an Exchange Server for groupware functionality.
- Shared Contacts, Distribution Lists, Calendars (Events, Tasks, Notes) and Journal entries
- Free/Busy options for event scheduling, attendees arrangement
- Published events automatically show owner as Busy
- iCalendar format supports exchanging meeting requests
- Color labels distinguish appointment types
- Unicode support, compatibility with localized Outlook
- Easy to use, simple interface
Unlike MS Exchange's one-way synchronization, OutlookSync performs a background two-way sync between Outlook items and the centralized GroupWare server on defined schedule. This perfect Server-Side solution resolves any conflicts and ensures that all data is kept up-to-date and backed up in the central database storage. From there, data can be synchronized to any SyncML enabled device connected to the Internet directly or through a 3rd party application or service.
- Sync to Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Lightning, Novell Evolution
- SyncML 1.1.2 (Synchronization Markup Language)
- Sync to computers or handhelds running compatible PIM applications
- Sync to web-based calendaring services

Offline Data Access
Unlike MS Exchange and other groupware solutions OutlookSync makes it possible for you and your staff to work in MS Outlook offline and synchronize all changes when back online.

Privacy & Security

- Private (accessible by owner only)
- Trusted (accessible by authorized users)
- Public (accessible by anyone)
- Read shows only Public events w/ no other rights
- Read + Write adds ability to create new entries
- Read + Write + Modify adds ability to edit existing entries
- Read + Write + Modify + Delete adds ability to erase any entries
- Owner shows even Private events with full rights

"Thank you for making this a real red letter day for all of us. I have spent four months without results, trying to get shared calendars, contacts and tasks with MS Exchange and Sharepoint.
You solved our shared work flow tracking challenge extremely quickly. Your Groupware program was amazingly low priced: Free.
It was dramatically easier to install than MS Exchange or SharePoint. Mike, from your office, really had it running in a few hours.
Your Groupware solution saves me the $250 a month I was paying for Sharepoint.
Thanks again CPASiteSolutions."
