How To Modify Your Site

Log into your site's administration page (see our Log-In instructions). Once you're in the Control Panel then click on the icon labeled "Modify Your Site". The web design engine will open up in a new window.

 

Site Manager Menu Bar

After clicking the Modify Site link, a new window will open with your Site Map shown (more on the Site Map in a moment). You are now in your Site Manager. At the top of the page will be the Site Manager Menu Bar, an orange graphic with buttons. Click the buttons to do the following...

  • Edit: Opens your Site Map, where you will navigate your various pages
  • Add: Add a page
  • Nav Bar: Manage the website links (left-side) used to navigate the site (note: this is not used if you are not using the Java Navigation system)
  • Firm Info: Edit your firm and contact information
  • Styles: Change your website style
  • Backup: Saves and backs-up a copy of your website
  • Publish: Publishes all website changes to the web
  • Save & Exit: Click to exit Site Manager

You will begin on the Site Map, which is a clickable listing of all the web pages on your site. To start out with, let's click on the Firm Profile link.

To edit the text on the page go to the Text Organizer and click on the Edit button next to the 2nd line that says "Our high standards, service and".

Each section of text can have a title, picture, and block of text. On the bottom of the page you'll see a row of circles. when you move your mouse over each of the circles you'll see the different layout options. To change the layout, simply click on the circle.

You should also refer to the Help section on working with the Full Editor:

When you're finished, click on the "Next" button on the bottom of the page. The "Next" button executes your changes. Keep clicking on the "Next" button on the bottom of the pages until you can see the page. Review your changes.

Once you've made all your changes, you will need to Publish those changes by clicking on the orange Publish button on the Site Manager menu bar.

The Publish button will open a new window and take a minute or two to complete. When it's done the changes to your site are complete.
