Adding Images

In this tutorial, you will be instructed on how to insert an image on a page. After you have navigated to the page you want to edit, move your mouse over the area that you want to edit so it becomes highlighted in gray. Once you click the gray area, the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor will appear in a new window.

After the editor opens, you can then begin to insert a picture by clicking on the “Image” button.

Once the button is clicked, another window will open where you can select an image or upload an image from your computer. If your image already exists on the server or you want to use some of our pictures already on the server, then you can click Browse Server.  However, if you need to insert an image that is on your computer, first click the upload tab and skip the next two steps.

If you click Browse Server, another window will open that will allow you to see previously uploaded images.  You can also click the plus sign next to Galleries to look through our stock images.  Once you’ve selected an image, just double click it.

If you clicked the Upload tab, you will see a Browse button.  Click to browse your computer for the image.  Once selected, click Send it to the Server.

Now you can make some modifications to your image in the Image Properties window.  You can add a black border, add padding around the image (HSpace = left and right, VSpace = top and bottom), and Alignment will determine how the text flows around the picture.  When you’re finished, click OK.

Your image should now be placed inside the WYSIWYG editor. From here, you can move your image virtually anywhere in the editing window by left-clicking the image and dragging the image to the location where you want it placed. To make your image larger or smaller, single left-click the image so a series of small boxes develop around the perimeter of the image. You can then left-click and drag a box to resize the image. To make more modifications, right click the image and choose Image Properties.

Once all adjustments have been made, click Save and you’ll see your new image on the page!

How can I get a Commodity Prices ticker on our web site? We currently have a text box, but updating it is a task and is not very helpful when prices change so frequently. In the demo video I saw a “Market Watch” box that looked more like a ticker. Something like that would be outstanding.

    Hi Chelsea,

We can definitely add the stock ticker to your page, in place of the Commodity Prices box. Just give us a call at 1-800-896-4500 or email us at support@cpasitesolutions.com. One of our Webmasters will be happy to add it for you.

    Thanks,

    Susannah
