How to Use Your Email Marketing System
[Quick User's Guide]
The Email Marketing System is a feature of your CPASiteSolutions account that makes it easy to manage your online mailing list. You can send emails to your list members on a regularly-scheduled basis, or you can send them a non-scheduled email at a time of your choosing. To access your Email Marketing System, go to:

Your mailing list username is the same username you use to log into your website (ie; your domain name minus the ".com" portion), and your password is also the same that you use to enter the website control panel. Once you log in you will see the following menu...


Messages

Use this button to manage your list of messages.

Send Message: Use this button to send a message immediately, to a single e-mail address, all subscribers of a campaign, or your complete list of subscribers (see below).

Edit Message / New Message: Editing a message or creating a new message will result in the screen below:

Title: This is the title that your message will display within the e-mail marketing system. This title is for your reference only, and will not show up in the message the client receives.

Subject: This is the message subject that recipients of the message will see in their e-mail program.

Text: The plain-text version of the message. If only the text field of the message is filled out, the message will be sent only in plain text.

HTML: The HTML version of the message. If only the HTML field of the message is filled out, the message will be sent only in HTML format.

If both the HTML and Text fields are filled, the message will be sent with both formats included. The recipients with e-mail programs capable of viewing HTML e-mail will see the HTML version, those that can only view plain text will see the text version.

Test Message: If this box is checked when you save the message, a prompt will come up asking for an e-mail address to send a test version of the message to (see below). This allows you to preview the message as your subscribers will see it.


Campaigns

This is where you can create campaigns of messages that your contacts can be subscribed to. A campaign is a list of messages with specific send dates and a set order of messages to send.

New Campaign: Use this button to create a new e-mail campaign.

Edit Campaign: Use this button to edit an existing e-mail campaign.

Delete Campaign: Delete an existing campaign. Please note that the Newsletter campaign cannot be deleted. If you would not like to send messages to the newsletter campaign, you can disable the campaign by clicking on the campaign title and unchecking the "active" box.


Contacts

Here you can add a single contact to your subscribers list, add a list of multiple contacts or edit your existing contacts.


Firm Information

This is where you can change your company information (see below).


Logout

Click this button to log out of the service, rather than just closing the window.
