Twitter and Facebook make it easy to share content from within their networks. They do this by providing code that can be integrated within any website page.
Twitter Badges and Widgets. Twitter has a profile widget that displays your most recent Twitter updates on any web page.
- login to your Twitter account and click on the Goodies link at the bottom of any page.
- Choose Widgets.
- Select Widgets for My Website.
- Click on Profile Widget.
- If you click on Appearance or Dimensions you can change them from the default.
- Click on Finish and Grab Code if you like what you see.
- Copy and paste the code.
- Email that code to your CPA Site Solutions Account Representative or to support@cpasitesolutions.com with a request to place the code on your website. Be sure to include where which page and where within that page you would like the profile to appear.

CPA Site Solutions Facebook Fan Box
Facebook Profile Badge. Facebook has a profile badge that allows you to include the stream of updates including your fans. What is nice is you have the option to not include these if you want and have a very simple profile added to your accounting website.
- Login and go to your firm’s profile page (not your personal Facebook page).
- To the left below your profile image should be “Add Fan Box to your site.” Click on this.
- Decide if you want to include stream, include fans through check box.
- Under “Choose where to add the widget” click on other.
- Copy and paste the code.
- Email that code to your CPA Site Solutions Account Representative or to support@cpasitesolutions.com with a request to place the code on your website. Be sure to include where which page and where within that page you would like the profile to appear.
Using either or both of the widgets offered by Twitter and Facebook is a great way to add some regularly updated messages (via the widget) to your accounting website. It also gives regular and potential clients another way to interact with your firm.
