However, it’s important to keep in mind that for many potential clients, your website is the face of your firm. Web surfers are a fickle bunch. Most will click away from your site in a matter of seconds if they are not immediately drawn in.
According to a recent online survey conducted by Webcopyplus, 24% of web users said they rated “poor visual presentation” as the main reason they would click away from a website, up from only 6.6% in 2007. 25% indicated “Weak Web Copy” as the primary reason, and 50% indicated “Slow Load Times”.
Now, as you know, we’ve got you covered on the last two. But if visitors to your accounting firm’s website feel like they are looking at an outdated design, they might not stick around to find out! So again, if it’s been a while since you looked at our new web site designs for accountants, take another look.
When picking a new design, keep in mind that your logo will be replacing the “Bauer Evans” logo that appears on the sample. Keeping your logo in mind, think of your website in terms of branding - will your logo integrate nicely into the design? Try to choose a design that accentuates the prominent features (colors, shapes, images) of your accounting firm’s logo. Not sure?
