Joe grew up in the Green Mountains of Vermont and has a B.S. from The University of Vermont.  As a child Joe was often playing soccer and skiing during his free time and he still enjoys these sports today.  Joe also does some woodworking in his spare time and his last project was a poplar bench with a lid that opens to a small storage area, its located in the entry way of his house.  And like most people Joe likes to travel a little and a couple of his favorite trips have been to Costa Rica and one cross country road trip camping at many national parks.  He also enjoyed a trip to Palm Beach, FL where he got to do some sea kayaking and mentions that riding a wave in a kayak is a blast!

Favorite Band/Performer: Seinfeld stand up show in Las Vegas.

Favorite TV Shows: Seinfeld, 24, How I Met Your Mother, The Office

Favorite Movies: I don’t really have a favorite, I like comedies and action/adventure movies, but here are a few I like. Goal!, Goal 2, Hot Dog, Dazed and Confused, and Avatar was pretty good.

Favorite Foods: Pizza with pepperoni and bacon.  Sun chips.  Stuffing.   Bacon.  Chocolate.  Watermelon.

Favorite Places Visited: Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks, Costa Rica, Tuckerman Ravine, Snowbird and Alta ski resorts in Utah

Interesting Fact/Moment: Joe flew a plane in the 8th grade when he went to the airport for career day.
